    Aside from the equally detrimental Mimicry for a flavour thing, there really doesn't seem to be a point to having another option. I'm no secondary ability unless it turns out Colour Changes is so central for CAP to work it doesn't matter if it has anything else.

    Yes: similar to Protean it changes into a monotype for the rest of the game. The only exception is that if it is still dual-typed and gets hit by either of those typings, then it will stay duel-typed for the moment.

    There's a lot more to gain defensively then offensively simply do the to the type matchups involved. 9 of the 18 types resist themselves, so switching a colour changer into a Choice-Attacker with one of those types boosts it's walling effect, as well as granting immunities to common status...
